![]() ![]() ![]() I'd say Assassin is more the coffein-junky playstyle, Technomancer is more the lazy build and pyro is a good mix inbetween.Good Morning Friends! Yesterday was the official launch of the Outriders Worldslayer expansion, but I have had access to it for a while now. Here is my setting with pyro, which is a lot of fun to play with. The lack of CC is covered by the ashen passives which procs when the burning effect stops, it gives me just the on second i need to do 1 shot more. So i made an LMG with mod3 weakness and anomaly mutation to scale with AP and just mark all enemys on the map and watch their health tick down in seconds. Pyros healing mechanic (kill burned enemys) has to be covered somehow. After 1 week i was getting curious about the PYRO. After full borealis build with 3 freezing towers (poison can be changed to freeze) and a sniper 1-shot sniper with Grand Opening. So i thought about freezing and became a Technomancer in the second run. As Assassin you teleport around and get health+shield for doing damage, but in the same time you are too squishy to port on the bosses because they will one-hit you late game. I've started with Assassin, took quite long to understand the mechanics of the game. For reference, here is a written guide on how I leveled my devastator from where you are now to CT15. Overall I'd say you've got yourself a good starting budget build. Having those 2 resistance piercing nodes means that they aren't as good at reducing your damage being done. Elites / bosses have resistance to your skill / anomaly damage. If you don't let them bleed out then it isn't worth it. Rivers of blood will take the 5 sec bleed up to 8 sec, which adds 6 more DoT ticks per bleeding enemy. ![]() I would also say that you could drop both "rivers of blood" nodes for the resistance piercing nodes. If you go the melee route, use that point for "strong arm of the law" to increase your melee damage more. When deciding what purples to upgrade as you go, the gloves mentioned earlier should always be choice #1, the piece with untamed power is choice #2.įor your skill tree, I'd recommend dropping "unending watch" node as you don't need that at all when using/canceling reflect bullets so quickly. Of these mods, untamed power's damage bonus will depend on your anomaly power and possibly the level of the gear it is on (I can't recall if that affects the % of AP it does as damage). Untamed Power this will proc a small AoE damage all around you every time you use a skill, including your melee.Brawl this increases your melee damage, if you're going to melee it might as well hit harder.Martial Arts this will let you use your melee a little more often, which while leveling up I found to be incredibly valuable.Earthquake is making things bleed and so does your melee, speaking of which. Bloody Boost this will increase ALL damage you do to any target that is bleeding, including the bleeding that you caused. ![]() The following mods are all good options to use until you get the really valuable tier 3 mods.Īs for the tier 2 mods to add to the head, chest and boots and find on a new purple pant For now, that's the dead weight item until you get a purple with one of the tier 2 mods I list below. The "head of the ward" mod doesn't do a lot for you. I think your leg armor is the weakest link. Then keep this glove at max level each time you level up as it will improve both the damage bonus to gravity leap and earthquake. Upgrade your existing blue glove to purple and add "Ground Crush" to it. Once you have that blue gear leveled up to the max you can, its probably time to covert a few of them to purples to get more mod slots. The gloves and boots are good pieces for now. I would say you've got excellent head and chest pieces for a budget build. If you absolutely need more gun damage then whenever you do upgrade it add the tier 2 mod "storm whip" to it. Keep it as a blue item as long as you can as that's cheaper to upgrade and your average item level does affect character stats. Whatever that max is, upgrade the level those blue items to max. I should have also asked what CT you're at / what gear level you have as well as the max you can equip. ![]()
